Federal Pell Grants
The federal financial aid program, which is made available by this school, is the Federal Pell Grant Program. Whether a student is eligible for assistance, and how much, is determined by the need of the particular student. The goal of the school is to help every eligible student receive aid through the Federal Pell Grant when qualified. The amounts awarded may change from year to year due to new appropriations made by the US Congress. The award year is July through June, so you must reapply each year. Applications can be submitted by paper or internet. If you are filing on the internet, your first step is to register for a pin number.
Direct Loans
Once a student has completed the FAFSA, he/she may still be eligible for subsidized and/or unsubsidized loans based on the cost of attendance.
Pell Grant Eligibility
Generally speaking, eligibility for the Pell Grant requires:
U.S. citizenship or permanent residence
Attendance at an approved school which this school is.
Family income which represents low-middle income or less
Students from families with higher income should speak with the financial aid officer at the school since it may be possible to receive a grant due to consideration of family size, more than one student in a post-secondary school, emergency expenditures or other factors.
